Alessandro Mariotti was born in Rome in 1982. In 2001 he graduated from scientific high school and enrolled in the Department of Psychology at the University of Rome 'La Sapienza' where he became passionate about Psychopedagogy and Psycholinguistics.
To achieve the three-year degree he presents a thesis on metalinguistics and continue his studies, for the two-year specialist, with a research internship on the analysis of speech and language coordinated by Prof. Pontecorvo within of the ICEF International research on educational practices in the family context with an interest in the use of new technologies in teaching.
In 2008 he obtained the second level DITALS certification and gained experience in the field of teaching Italian as a second language in different schools in Rome. In 2010 he left for Holland as a trainer of teachers of Italian as a foreign language and participated in a project to disseminate the Italian language and culture organizing evenings with the screening of Italian films and cooking lessons. At the end of 2012 his Dutch experience ends and he return to Rome to teach Italian for foreigners.
Since mid-2016 he has been Secretary General of Italian in Italy and participates in the drafting of the final document of the 'States General of the Italian language in the world' held in Florence about the use of new technologies in learning processes.
In 2017 he was invited to the University of Cyprus in Nicosia as a speaker in the training days for L2 / LS Italian teachers.
He is the didactic coordinator of the Studioitalia Academy.
