The “Chamber Music Orchestra” of Giovani Musici Italiani was born from a long tradition in the auspicious atmosphere of Rome.
Chamber Music Orchestra “Giovani Musici” has performed more than 60 concert in Italy and abroad achieving remarkable critical acclaim in addition to giving a contribution to Rome’s cultural life.
In 1995 the orchestra had a concert season at Ghione Theatre in Rome. Giovani Musici Italiani Played the Estate Romana (Roman Summer), held at the most prestigious archeological sites (Mercati Traianei, Auditorium di Mecenate, Foro di Cesare), to Unite music and art, and wich is due to continue in the coming years with a series of programs called “Music in the museums”.
At the beginning of 1997, the Sting Quartet of the Giovani Musici Italiani played toghether with the distinguished soprano Renata Scotto at the Camera Music Season of the National Academy of Santa Cecilia.
