Deadline for submitting the application by Chinese students for institutions wishing to implement the 10-month Italian language course is set to August 27th 2018. Deadline for submitting applications for Chinese students is brought forward to July 30th 2018 when institutions wishing to conduct Italian language courses experimentally lasting 11 months.

Which study courses to pre-enroll

The list of classes with the corresponding reserve of places is published on the website of the Ministry of Education of the University and Research check on Link

The dissemination of this information is also handled by the AFAM Institutions and the Italian Representations operating in China in concert with Uni-Italy.

How to choose location for the Italian language course

The useful locations for the attendance of Italian language courses in addition to the University for Foreigners of Perugia, the University for Foreigners of Siena, the Society "Dante Alighieri" and the Third University of Rome are collected in a special computerized list published on the MIUR website. It is also possible to attend the Italian language course at AFAM institutions that have activated it.

Students who require pre-registration to the courses of study at the AFAM Institutions have to specify also the place where they are interested in attending the Italian language course in the application.

Students documents

Students have to do the required study documentation by the diplomatic and consular representations for the necessary declaration of value and application for pre-registration. Students who do not graduate will only be issued a declaration of value if they have an examination score.

Examination of "Artistic Specialization" (Yi Shu Kao Shi or Yikao) and "Gao Kao" are mandatory for Chinese students who intend to enroll in the Italian Institutions of Higher Artistic Education, Music and Dance. The score must be calculated as the average of the "Artistic Specialization" and "Gao Kao" exams.

To enter the Tourandot project is mandatory a Gao Kao minimum score of 300/750 to which will be added the score of the art exam (Yikao), a total average of at least 400/750 in line with the information provided by the Italian Diplomatic Mission in China.

For students from Hong Kong and Macau not subject to the examination system of Gao Kao the study documentation must be submitted to the competent Italian consular authority. It will check the possible validity for the purposes of registration with AFAM institutions and will proceed to issue the "declaration of value".
